Philip Gerlach, Australian, Fiji Resident
Phil is a member of the Urban Land Institute, a consult ant member of the New York based Gerson Lehrman Group, and has extensive and broad experience in man agement, finance and property development. Phil has been the principal planner and author on major mas ter planned projects. He has been a director on pub lic company boards, and has chaired, and been CEO, of a broad range of private companies. Phil has been appointed to a number of government organisation’s boards in Australia and Fiji, and his consulting work ex tends to governments, major international firms and film and television studios and networks. Phil is the founder, and until early 2006 was Executive Chairman, of Yaqara Group Limited (listed SPSE), a public compa ny that controls a 2,200 hectare Yaqara Studio City Tax Free Zone Development, situated on the north west coast of Fiji’s main island Viti Levu. He was the found ing Chairman and Managing Director of the Beyond In ternational Group (a public company in Australia) from 1984 to 1991. He is a founding director of Tahila Group and founding Board member for the establishment of the Fiji Audio Visual Commission. His enormous breadth of experience spans over thirty years in planning, busi ness, financial modelling and consulting. He is active in community work, and is a past Director of the Rotary Foundation through the Rotary Club of Suva, Founding Trustee of the Pacific Islands Rainforest Foundation and was Chairman (2008/09) of The Learning Centre Primary School, Suva. Phil has recently been appointed an Ad junct Fellow at the Fiji National University lecturing in Film and Television. Phil is a director of Tahila Group companies, Tahila Avenue Ltd and Tahila Pasifika Com munications (Fiji) Ltd.

Mandy Kennington, Australian, Fiji Resident
During her career in Australia and Fiji Mandy has worked extensively in public relations, and issues and crisis management. Specialising in the arts Mandy has worked at the highest levels of government in roles that required managing relations between the media, government and the private sector. Prior to relocating to Fiji she was press secretary for the Hon. Peter Collins, Minister for the Arts in the NSW State Government be fore moving on to the role of Public Relations Manager for government’s premier agency for funding film and television, Screen Australia (formerly the Film Finance Corporation Australia) ,where she was responsible for brand keeping, client relations, advertising, publica tions, web development and media relations. Man dy’s senior management skills were honed in a diverse range of arts sectors including the contemporary mu sic industry where she worked as an independent con cert promoter and artist manager. In this field she has devised and developed funding programs for the NSW Ministry for the Arts and worked extensively in event management as a programmer for Sydney Festival, the Statewide (NSW) Multicultural Festival Carnivale, and for the not for profit Australian Rock Company where she was Chief Executive Officer. Mandy has been a Fiji resi dent for nine years, during which time she has consult ed in her specialist fields to publicly listed companies, government ministries and agencies, and the private sector, primarily in the fields of public relations, media, brand development, marketing, web development and issues management. Mandy is a founding direc tor of Tahila Group company, Tahila Avenue Ltd, and is Managing Director, Tahila Pasifika Communications (Fiji) Ltd.

Terrence Bull, New Zealand Citizen and Resident
Terrence has programmed computers since 1977. He designed and developed Woogloo, the powerful web-site solution that is gaining market share in Europe, India, Hong Kong, Australia, the USA, Canada, Kenya, Fiji and New Zealand. Terrence has a unique under-standing of Internet technology and its potential to benefit businesses wanting to market effectively on the Internet. In business since 1983 he has spent most of his career as a marketing and business consultant and in the advertising industry where he has owned and managed full service advertising agencies. Ter-rence is an innovator. He designed the ‘coin reader, in use in vending machines worldwide, as well as an array of other products. He has a rare ability to ‘prob-lem solve’ and create ‘real world solutions’ that actu-ally work. Woogloo, robust and powerful despite its low price tag, is an affordable web-marketing solution where the high cost of R&D has been off-set by pricing that is low enough to make the product affordable to a large number of people. Terrence is acknowledged as a leader in marketing, business consulting and web based business software solutions, and is in demand as a public speaker. Seema Kumar, Fiji Citizen

Seema has an extensive work history in the tourism in-dustry in Fiji. She worked at Raintree Lodge for six years during which time she was promoted to the role of operations manager. She has experience in managing all aspects of hotel operations, including the areas of marketing and promotion, and has a high level of un-derstanding of the economics of the day to day opera-tions of a ‘budget accommodation’ resort. Since joining Tahila Group in early 2009 Seema has been responsible for office administration and project support and has undertaken extensive desk top and Internet research and data collation tasks. Seema has studied and completed two courses in Project Managment at Fiji National University.
